When is the next COE bidding exercise?
COE bidding exercises run twice a month in Singapore. They are almost always held in the first and third weeks. Each exercise opens on a Monday at noon and closes on the following Wednesday at 4 pm Singapore time. Results are published on LTA's OneMotoring shortly after the close, and we mirror them on our home page as soon as they appear.
The official schedule
LTA publishes the bidding schedule for each calendar half-year well in advance. The schedule covers all six bidding exercises a quarter and is the authoritative source. You can find it on OneMotoring under "Buying a Vehicle" → "Vehicle Quota System".
How long is each exercise open?
Three days. Bidding opens at 12 noon on a Monday and closes at 4 pm on the Wednesday two days later. During those three days, registered bidders can submit a starting bid and revise it upward at any point. The cut-off price is visible live throughout the window.
When are results published?
Almost immediately after the exercise closes. The premium for each category (the lowest bid that still secured a COE) is displayed on OneMotoring within the hour, usually within a few minutes. We pull the same data and republish it on our latest results page so you can see all five categories side by side without clicking through tabs.
What if I miss an exercise?
The next one is at most two weeks away. There has never been a calendar quarter in the modern system without bidding exercises. For a longer view of where premiums have been moving, see our category history pages.
